McGrath Guitars

McGrath Guitars is a family run shop based in San Diego California and is driven by a deep love and passion for the Bass.  Cormac McGrath is a player and builder for over 20 years and has a simple mission, to create great basses that look striking and are fun to play.  The distinct finishes are hand-stained and painted by Cormac's wife Madelyn who is an accomplished professional in art and graphic design with four Emmy Awards to her name.  These basses have necks that are super comfortable and offer a wide range of tones with their unique pickup and control layouts.
