The buyer's use of the Fret Nation website indicates the buyers acknowledgement and acceptance to the conditions and policies of the Fret Nation website.  All content on this site is the property of the Fret Nation website and its vendors which are protected by the U.S. and international copyright laws.  Any use of the images, logos, text, graphics, icons, audio, and video without the approval of the Fret Nation website may violate copyright and trademark laws and could result in criminal or civil prosecution.

Credit Cards

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order and or cancellation of your order.  Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order with exception of special order items. 

Charges will appear on your card statement from: FRET NATION  /  FRETNATION

If PayPal or Square Invoicing is used, the card used will may be charged immediately. 

Custom Instrument Order Policy

Fret Nation is here to get you the Bass or Guitar of your dreams!  We are happy to go over every aspect of your build!  Call us at 951-474-8484 to get your build started and ensure you get what works best for your wants and needs.  


Depending on the manufacturer the deposit amount will vary.  Once the custom order has been placed and specifications verified by the manufacturer, any deposits or payments towards the purchase price become NON-REFUNDABLE once the build has begun.  

The price of your build is locked in at the pricing in place at the time of your deposit.  In the event any changes are made after the deposit is received, the changes will be made based on the current pricing in effect at that time.  

Shipping rates if applicable will be calculated at the time of final payment and shipping. 

Production times will vary.  We will quote build times to the best of our ability though they are subject to change.  Should the quoted timeline change significantly (6 months or more), we will make every reasonable efforts to contact you and make you aware.  In the event of production delays and you choose to cancel your order, any payments are forfeited and are non-refundable. 

Changes may be made to your build as long as the manufacturing process has not begun.  With some manufacturers the build starts right away while others it may take some time.  If the build has started and a change is needed and able to be arranged, additional charges as a result of any changes may be added to the cost of your build.  

When your build is nearly complete, we will notify you that the balance remaining including any required expenses for your order are due.  At that time, Fret Nation reserves the right to require payment in-full in the event of highly customized builds.  Other builds will have fourteen (14) days from the notification date to make payment.  Should you fail to make payment within fourteen (14) days, we reserve the right to add a $100 fee for every month the build is ready without making appropriate arrangements.  If the purchaser does not make contact with Fret Nation within this time period, Fret Nation will assume you no longer want the build and forfeit any deposit or payments made.  

Cancellation Policy:

All deposits and any progress payments made are non-refundable and will be forfeited at the time of any cancellation.

Refund Policy:

All custom order build sales are final.  Custom builds can not be returned for exchange credit or refund.  

Promo Codes & Digital Coupons do not apply to custom builds. 

Policy on Select Top Woods:

Fret Nation will reserve tops for your build once a deposit is received.  Fret Nation can not guarantee any top reservations until a deposit is made.  Once a deposit is made and we have confirmed the top is available, the purchaser will be notified and we can complete the build to their specifications. 

No-Hold Policy:

Finished instruments without final payment received by the original purchaser will be held for fourteen (14) days after notification of completion.  Any instrument unable to ship after this time period due to non-payment (per customer request or lack of response) will be subject to storage fees and or forfeit of the instruments deposits and progress payments made and may be offered for sale. 

Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, Company Checks, & Personal Checks

Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, Personal Checks, and Company Checks can be accepted.  Please contact us to make arrangements for any of these alternate forms of payment.

We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Multiple Product Orders

For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped when the total order is complete unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges in the event of shipping the order in multiple shipments. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

Out of Stock Products

We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, products ship the same day if ordered by 12-NOON PST  , or by the next business day if your order is received after this time and for orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any major holiday. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping if the item is regularly stocked item.  Special Order and Custom Orders may not be cancelled without a re-stocking fee being charged.

Special Orders

All special order items must be paid in full before items are ordered.  Special order items may take some time to receive, buyers will be notified on estimated times of delivery for all special order items.  Estimated delivery times are subject to change.  If a special order item is canceled for any reason, the buyer will assume a 25% restocking fee.  Once a buyer receives special order items, the sale will be final and will not be allowed to be returned.  Most items offered on the website are in-stock or readily available, but we advise all buyers to contact us to check availability on items to avoid any discrepancies with orders.  Any item that is not in stock has a general turn around time of being received by Fret Nation direct from the manufacturer within 7-10 business days.

Taxes

Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the same state. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes. 

Fret Nation is not responsible for any international Duties or import charges.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Fret Nation shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Fret Nation shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Fret Nation shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price

Warranty & Conditions of Use

All items are covered under any manufacturer warranty.  Fret Nation will assist in any warranty issues direct with the manufacturer.  Please contact us if you have a problem with a product the buyer believes is a warranty issue.  Contacting both the manufacturer without letting us know you have already made contact with them will create more work for both Fret Nation and the manufacturer and will most likely lead to the delay of remedying your concern by both Fret Nation and the manufacturer.  If there is any concern, please reach out to Fret Nation and we will advise the best means of addressing your concern.
