This is a very unique Warwick Custom Shop Thumb bass! Featuring a beautifully bookmatched solid Wenge body, this thumb just growls! Bolted up to a 35" Ovangkol Neck with a beautifully figured Birdseye Maple Fingerboard with a highly detailed Lotus Flower inlay. This is a tone machine ready for studio and stage!
The bass is in played condition but still in very good shape. There is some wear on the neck pickup from the B-string hitting it as well as from a thumb nail on the body above the neck pickup. The Wenge hides wear since it very porous but there are some dings that can be seen on the sides of the lower bout. This is all very minimal. Since it is a natural oil finish these marks can be sanded out by the purchaser if they choose. The neck is in very good condition with only a small ding on the treble side of the headstock face. The frets are in very nice condition.
The hardware on this bass is in good shape but the gold naturally fading / patina. We do have the full catalog of Warwick hardware if the buyer chooses to replace with new hardware. Please contact us for details.
