Using them on my Metro Express PJ with upgraded pickups - so far so good! They have survived several band rehearsals - my chemistry kills that initial round wound zing, but they still have plenty of highs - especially with the Sadowsky preamp. They sound good with a low-pass filter for more traditional sounds too. Tension feels fairly tight, I find them a little abrasive to my fingers, but not in a bad way - in a round wound strings kind of way! Just gotta play more! Interested in checking out the blue series nickels...
