Norm Stockton has been a part of the MTD family since 1997 and is a pillar of the bass community. Between touring sessions and clinics, Norm Stockton has distinguished himself as a brilliant bass player, bass teacher, and an ambassador for the electric bass.
The MTD Kingston Norm Stockton Signature Saratoga bass is a natural evolution in the relationship between MTD and Norm Stockton. This new Kingston verion is an extension of the innitial collaboration and features a familiar aesthetic to go with features not found on other MTD Kingston instruments.
This bass features the Custom USA Bartolini Pickups and Electronics package that delivers a tonal punch that much be experienced. The electronics feature active / passive switching and a custom mid-shift switcht select between 250Hz and 450Hz (the same frequencies found on the USA version of the Norm Stockton bass), making this instrument tonally unique among the MTD Kingston lineup. Combining these electronics with the carbon reinforced maple neck, and a beautiful alder and figured maple body makes for a bass that is both increidbly versatile and thoroughly inspiring.
