While the MTD Kingston LK Lynn Keller bass was originally designed to meet players smaller in stature, don't let that fool you, the MTD LK is an equally well appointed instrument made with the same precision and thoughtfulness as the rest of the MTD Kingston Bass Series of basses.
The MTD LK is a 32-Inch scale bass with 24 frets featuring a basswod body and maple neck with an asymmetrical carve and maple fingerboard with a compound radius. The basswood body is light and resonant and produces great bass response and clarity.
The Buzz Feiten Tuning System provides precise intonation up and down the fretboard. The robust top loaded quick release bridge allows for speedy and easy string changes, while the Licensed Hipshot Ultralight Tuning Machines provide stable smooth tuning without neck dive.
The active preamp provides +/- 6dB of boost and cut across the bass / mid / treble controls. The Active / Passive switch couples the pickups directly to the output and engages the passive tone control.
