This beautiful Mattisson Series II Custom Shop MasterBuilt plays like a dream! It has an asymmetrical neck that feels so nice in your hands with a bass that is overall very balanced with clear definition across all strings. These basses are truly something special!
Overall this bass is in very good condition with some little dings and marks from being played. On the body there are a few small dings that do not impact how it plays. The headstock face has some "buckle rash" type marks most likely from changing strings. Frets show little to no signs of wear and the Hipshot O-Ring Knobs rings show some sings of cracking but this is very common with these knobs.
We strung this bass up with a new set of DR Dragon Skin Plus 45-65-85-105-135 the same strings Mattisson uses on current builds.
