La Bella's Low Tension Flats have been made adopting the same techniques behind their world famous Deep Talkin' Bass strings and deliver the same classic sound but without the floppiness associated with other light tension flat wound bass strings out there.  These La Bella Low Tension Flats are hand wound hand polished using a round core for flexibility, and narrower flat ribbon wire to achieve that unrivaled smooth feeling string that La Bella Flats are known for.

All standard bass sets are LONG scale length. The 1st (G), 2nd (D), 3rd (A) strings are 38” from ball-end to silk/taper. The 4th (E) string is 37" from ball-end to silk/taper. Only the silk portion of the string should wrap around the tuning post or else the string will break.

This particular set is NOT suitable for basses with bridges that require strings to pass through the body of the instrument.
