i have not had a chance to try out the strings on my dingwall, but I've used these on a fender jazz bass and loved them. Thank you for putting together a set for multiscale dingwall 37in
Great strings, quick shipping. Very grateful Fret Nation gets this set made for multi-scale basses. Being unfamiliar with flatwounds,I was worried that the lighter gauge would be problematic, but these have equivalent tension to normal gauge bass strings.
A Dingwall Bass and Flatwounds, did it match? The Answer is Yes, Wow! Sounds Great with ritch Low End and plays like Butter. Why is this Not a Standard?
These were pretty pricey, but with a multiscale bass, you gotta pay to play. My string of choice is EB Cobalt Flats, but they don't make a multi scale set. Never used LaBella flats and I'm really impressed. WAY smoother than the EB strings and sound fantastic. Shipping was fast, also.
I put these on my Ibanez BTB605MS, they sound and feel absolutely amazing. the B string is warm, like a flatwound string should be, but nowhere near as muddy as any other flatwound B string I've used. It can comfortably tune down to A (possibly lower) and still sound clear. The string to string balance is perfect, too. VERY happy with this set.
