These tuners are absolutely fantastic, light, but really well built and positive in mechanical action!
I have Warwick 4 String Thumb Bolt-on bass and they were an absolute dream to fit - holes aligned perfectly!
A simple twenty minute job!
Jason was brilliant in his advice and recommendation and I would most certainly not hesitate to use this company again!
Cheers guys! 🥰🥰🎸🎸🍺🍺
I installed these on my Spector Dimension 4, and I'm very happy with them they're smooth and precise, and at Fret Nation they're priced great. That said, I have the licensed Hipshot Ultralites on my Spector NS Pulse II, and they're very similar to these USA made ones. There isn't a big drop off from the US made Ultralites to the licensed versions, which is the same thing Hipshot themselves say. Can't go wrong either way!
I love these tuners and Fret Nation is fantastic to deal with. Jason, really knows his stuff and gets you whatever parts you need ASAP!
The Hipshot USA tuners are some of the best tuners on the market and are a genuine leap in quality from the Licensed Hipshot tuners. Shouts out Jason from Fret Nation for the help. Cheers!
These tuners are incredibly smooth, stable, and light. Installation is also easy. Fret Nation's customer service is second to none!
Hipshot stuff is always top notch..
And so is dealing with Jason
I highly recommend the Hipshot Ultralight 3/8" Brass Tuning Machines. I ended up swapping out the factory tuners on a Flight Mini Bass and am very pleased with the results. Had to hand drill slightly larger holes in the headstock. I recommend the Seller highly.
The tuners and the drop extender work excellent easily installed and look great. Jason was great to deal with.
Top quality tuning machines delivered quickly at a good price. Would highly recommend Hipshot tuners from Fret Nation
Great Tuning machines, but far beyond was Jason’s excellent service! No problem making changes to my order, etc. Helped me pick the right ones, and also had the beat prices! Couldn’t be happier!
great hardware installed perfectly

Excellent customer service as always. Super fast shipping!
I bought a bass that had extremely bad dead spots at the 8th, 9th, and 10th frets on the D string. Adding (a lot of) weight to the headstock moved the problem to around the 5th fret on the A string. I decided to try removing weight and started with replacing the tuners with these. I went with the short stems to get the lightest set. Of course the tuners look and feel great, but they also did reduce the dead spots (now back at the 9th fret on D). When I say “dead spot” I mean there is an initial attack followed by a rapid drop in volume. These tuners slowed the drop in volume (watching on a VU meter). For those interested, replacing the bridge with a carbon fiber and titanium bridge along with going to 40-100 strings seems to have done the trick. If you need to reduce weight for any reason these are great tuners. They were also drop in replacements for me (Ken Smith Burner bass tuners).
