During the winding process, each string's outer wrapping is flattened slightly. This extra process gives the GHS Pressurewound Bass Strings a great smoother feeling and also reduces finger noise and string shift noises.

              great strings

              like the way they sound and play. then my old flat wounds, I would even say a little easier on the fingers, but a little bit more string noise. I think there great.
