GHS Black Nylon Tapewound Bass Strings combine the thump of an upright bass while retaining the characteristics of an electric bass. GHS Black Nylon Tapewounds have an ultra-smooth surface with a deep mellow tone.

String Construction:
  • Universal Long Scale: 37.25" Winding. Fits most 34" and some 35" scale basses

Please Note: Due to the construction process, GHS does not recommend using our tapewound strings on a thru-body bridge. Doing so can expose the final nylon cover to sharp edges, causing it to tear and unravel.
