I bought these with 6 string sets of the same description, which I used first. Big fan of MTD's, but had a few dud strings lately, and break-in/stretching can take an extended amount of fuss to stabilize tuning. I decided to try some other brands. These sound great, and to my surprise, are extremely stable. While setting points and stretching upon installlation, I'm stunned at how little stretching they needed to hold tuning while retaining a balanced new string clarity across all guages. Longevity is average: 3-5 gigs and I must put on a fresh set, as I like them snappy! These Dunlop Super Bright Stainless are a very good sounding string, preserve a reasonably familiar tonality about the instrument and more stable for outdoor venues with extreme temps/swings. I would recommend them, especially if that stability is something you seek.
Really enjoying the Super Brights, both stainless and nickel. They’re flexible so the feel great to play and sound fantastic for slap. Highly recommended!
