The Dingwall Nashville Combustion was inspired by a trip to Nashville's Berry Hill.  Dingwall Combustion Nashville Edition reintroduces a pickup blend control, the first one Dingwall has used since the 1990's, paired with a toggle switch and a Ruper Neve Design preamp.  The result is a massively versatile range of picukp combinations suited to virtaully any style from old school rock and blues to jazz and beyond, with plenty of vintage bite on top.

Body and Neck:  Like the standard Dingwall Combustion models, the Nashville Edition draws from the Dinwgall Custom Shop Afterburner series.  The Nashville Combustion Bass's newly-updated Alder body offers excellent balance and all-day comfort while the five-piece maple neck is securely bolted on for stability.  The fingerboard features the Ralph Novak fanned-fret system with a 240mm radius, delivering a fast fluid playing experience across all two octaves.

Pickups and Electronics: The Dingwall Nashville Edition is equipped with Three FD3n pickups and a Rupert Neve Design preamp.  Control your pickups slection with a blend control and 3-way mini-toggle.  This unique setup provides quick access to a soloed P-Tyle tone, a bridge/neck blend for classic J-Style sounds, or a full sweep across all three picukps for a thicker, humbucker-style growl.

The controls also feature a "Master Tone" that works in Active and Possive Modes for even more unique tones.  Boost the bass, treble, and roll back the tone for a unique tone you can't get from anything else: Defined but smooth and warm without losing definition. 

Hardware: The Dingwall Minimalist Bridge uses a laser-cut shim system that raises the action by 1mm without adjusting individual saddles retaining the radius that matches the fingerboard while also reducing excess string pressure. 

"It's called the Minimalist Bridge because you only need one wrench to adjust both action and intonation," explains Sheldon Dingwall. "Whether you're using metroic or imperial, the screw sizes are universal." 

Dingwall also partnered with Hipshot to refine their Ultralite tuning machines, shortening the tuning posts to improve the break angle at the nut and maximaize sustain. 

Dinwgall Strings: Dinwgall strings have been meticulously tested to maximize performance and deliver a tone that blends effortlessly with any style of music.  Dingwall were the first company to design strings specifically for a multi-scale instrument.  Dingwall Bass Strings are avaialble in both Nickel and Stainless Steel and provide an even tension for optimal balance, letting you experience the armest highs and the tightest lows possible.
