This D-Roc Standard was on display at the 2026 NAMM show to showcase the new color! This is the first in the USA and the first Ferrari Green D-Roc you will see for months! If you saw a Ferrari Green D-Roc at the NAMM show, it was this bass!
The Dingwall D-Roc Standard is a player-driven instrument that sits on the rockier side of the tone tracks, though it is far from a one-trick pony! With a 4-position D-Roc tuned Quad-Tone rotary pickup selector you have four distinct voicings. The D-Roc Standard will help you deliver your own sound to your audience in its purest possible form.Dingwall Bag Included
Body & Neck:
The Dingwall D-Roc Body is constructed from an African Mahogany wood called Khaya, with a 5-piece Maple Neck and Pau Ferro fingerboard. The bass is then finished with a polyurethane finish making the D-Roc really stand out.
Pickups and Electronics:
The D-ROc Standard is triple-loaded with FD-3n passive pickups. The key to their punchy tone is the use of Neodymium magnets; higher output means a more aggressive sound. Using a D-Roc 4-Position Rotary Selector you can choose to operate just the bridge pickup, bridge and middle pickups, the middle pickup, or all three pickups! Master Volume and Master Tone knobs are also featured.
Hardware:
The Dingwall Minimalist Bridge features a custom riser system that's designed to prove an increased range of flexibility when it comes to adjusting the action. If you play with a heavy technique, instead of raising your individual bridge saddles, which can put stress on the string and cause premature breakage, you can raise the entire bridge unit. That way you can move between a high action or a low action just by adjusting the shims, which leaves the saddle adjustment only for fine tuning.
Dingwall Strings:
Dingwall Bass Strings have been meticulously tested to maximize performance and deliver a tone that blends effortlessly with any style of music. Dingwall was the first company to design strings specifically for multi-scale instruments. Available in both Nickel and Stainless Steel, Dingwall Strings provide an even tension for optimal balance, letting you experience the warmest highs and the tightest lows. Dingwall basses ship standard with Nickel Plated Steel strings.
