The Dingwall D-Roc Custom is the modern evolution of a classic design. The D-Roc Custom is an extremely well balanced instrument with virtually no neck dive. The Dingwall D-Roc features a super sleek Khaya body. The headstock and wooden pickguard match for an amazing look that only Dingwall can do!
Body & Neck:
Sleek Khaya Body with matching wooden pickguard to the headstock face. The headstock design is a downsized tribute using Hipshot Ultralight tuning machines resulting in excellent balance and a solid performing bass.
Pickups and Electronics:
The Dingwall FDV pickups are made in-house. They feature Alnico 5 (V) magnets which offer a high output and a smooth and aggressive tone.
Hardware:
The Dingwall Fanned-Fret system was designed by Ralph Novak to facilitate the most appropriate scale length for each individual string. It's a pioneering concept that is applied across the entire Dingwall bass lineup! The rest of the hardware includes a set of custom Hipshot Ultralight machine heads, a Neutrik locking jack socket and Dingwalls Afterburner bridge which centers around a unique brass plate system that holds the saddles securely in place.
