This is an earlier example Dingwall Afterburner 1 featuring a beautiful flame maple top copping off an alder body finished in a striking blackburst high gloss. Complimenting the look is a 5-piece Wenge Neck with a Ziracote fingerboard. Two Dingwall FD3 pickups pumping through a 2-Band Glockenklang preamp, this bass is a tone machine!
For being thirteen years old, this bass is in great shape but does show some signs of being played. The frets are in overall pretty good shape with some signs of play with plenty of life left in them. The body doesn't have any significant damage but there are small surface level dimples and surface marks.
The neck is in great shape and truss rod is fully functional. The back of the necks open pore satin finish is showing signs of glossing from being played. We have set this bass up within factory specs with a new set of Dingwall Nickel Plated Steel strings.
