The best strings for the price in my opinion

The best strings for the price in my opinion. Start bright but mellow nicely. Sure there are other fancier things out there but these really are the standard for great nickels at a reasonable price. And of course Jason was incredibly helpful finding the correct length for a Squier Rascal bass.

Medium Scale, Full Funk

I use these as the heart of my short scale 6 string. They have a balance and feel that are like a well prepared canvas. Whatever tones or colors I feel fit - they are there for the ride. On their own, they are a perfect all-around, ready for anything string. Whether they are on a passive P-Bass, or going through an active, colorful, thumping pre-amp, they make you sound like YOU. And that's a lot to ask for something that is the main mechanism of a stringed instrument. No gimmicks, no Witches Brew; just solid fundamentals and consistency note to note. Theses strings are the ones that bring out the innate tones of your pickups, pre-amps, and amplifiers. Not to mention the real tone machines - your fingers and creativity.
