I just received two sets of these strings, all the way out here 6,800 miles from California. This is the only store that helped me find the right strings for my Spector NS Dimension 5 HP. Jason suggested several string sets that would work for my bass, and I’m incredibly grateful for his help.
I specifically needed strings with a tapered core and a 37-inch scale length. I had previously been using the original Spector string sets, but I wanted to try something new.
With this D’Addario set, the B string really does have a tapered core, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Bright and long lasting with a nickel tone. Since these are for multiscale, I would like to have 50-130 and/or 50-127 options.
